School officials say that after further investigation, the alleged threat was determined not credible. Clay County Schools says despite the false alarm, school officials and law enforcement did take the alleged threat seriously to ensure the safety of students and staff.
As an additional precaution, additional law enforcement resources are at the school Friday while classes continue as normal, officials say.
